Easy to install & affordable solution to meet fire extinguisher, AED, telephone and other surface mounted object projection requirements.
Determine Location
Mark the spot for the extension to be mounted.
Remove Protective Covering
Peel the protective covering off of the adhesive on the back of the extension.
Securely Mount
Affix the extension to the surface by firmly pressing adhesive to the surface. Optionally, drill 4 holes and affix the extension to the surface with 4 screws for more secure mounting.
The Secret of the Vertical Extension
The patent-pending living hinge design allows the extension to rotate 90⁰ in either direction if bumped by passing carts, gurneys or people, safely returning back to center every time. When mounted at 27” from the floor up to the bottom of an extinguisher, AED machine or any other surface mounted object projecting more than 4″ off the surface, the object can remain at any allowable height and still comply without impacting the flow of traffic.

Signage / Placard
The Vertical Extension comes with preprinted options for Fire Extinguisher, Telephone, AED, Hand Sanitizer and blanks. This allows both safety and signage alerting passers by of the object installed above.

Easy Installation
The back of the Vertical Extension has a strong adhesive to allow the extension to attached to dry wall, concrete, wood and many other surfaces for easy installation. In high traffic areas, screws can be used for extra strength.

Patent-Pending Living Hinge
By mounting a Vertical Extension underneath any object, it can remain at any allowable height and still comply. In addition, the Vertical Extension can rotate 90 degrees in either direction and always return to center. This becomes important in retail environments where extinguishers are mounted higher, and often on columns throughout the store, to allow shopping carts to safely pass.
